Viking Star

Viking Ocean Cruises' Viking Star, the first of a long series of ships to launch the ship owner's ocean cruising line, has been handed over at Marghera shipyard, outside Venice (Italy). Viking Star has been joined in mid-2016 by near-identical fleet-mates Viking Sky and Viking Sea.

Key highlights of the new ship are its destination-oriented cruise experience with few days at sea, long days in ports and an emphasis on passengers' cultural enrichment.
